BANGSUN JUSTIN KIM, MD
Dr. Kim has practiced medicine for many years on three different continents. Originally from Seoul, Korea, Dr. Kim received his M.D. from Catholic University Medical College. After completing his medical internship, Dr. Kim headed to serve in the South Korean army as a Medical Officer and later as Captain. Dr. Kim then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Seoul. His career successfully took off with the founding of his private practice in Seoul, in which he served thousands of patients with great dedication.
In 1996, Dr. Kim headed to the Ukraine and spent two months setting up a free health clinic, applying his talents in medicine to his passion for serving those in need. Thereafter Dr. Kim moved to the United States with his family and completed a second residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Vernon Hospital, an affiliate of New York Medical College. Since then, Dr. Kim has accumulated a wealth of experience, ranging from training in the practice of acupuncture in rural China to working in both small clinics and large hospitals. Since 2004, Dr. Kim has practiced full time in Irvine and established a quickly growing patient base that extends into greater Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Dr. Kim continues to serve his community, both locally and globally, most recently having served in free health clinics in Mexico and Peru.
In 2015, Dr. Kim was awarded Top Performing Primary Care Practitioner by Monarch Healthcare. He received the award again in 2016.
Dr. Kim resides in Irvine with his wife, and enjoys visits to see his daughters. In his spare time, Dr. Kim likes to golf, read, and spend time with his family.

MICHELE HWANG, NURSE PRACTIONER
Michele Hwang is a graduate of Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea's top university, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude. She also received a Master of Science in Nursing from University of California, Los Angeles. Michele has previous clinical experience at multiple hospitals, including Severance Hospital at Yonsei University and Kaiser Permanente, and also in private practice. In addition to primary care, her work has spanned a broad range, including cardiovascular surgery, ICU support, and hospice care. Michele is a proud resident of Irvine, where she lives with her husband and two daughters.
